Attorney Mitch Arnold has joined Phoenix-based Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a real estate of counsel.
Arnold is a transactional real estate attorney who specializes in acquisitions, leasing, divestitures, and other complex business matters. He has experience representing a variety of clients, including shopping center owners, fast food chain owners, and convenience store owners and operators. His work includes drafting declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions, reciprocal easement agreements, leases, purchase sale agreements, and title review, as well as assisting clients through a smooth closing process.
Arnold was previously at Clark Hill in Phoenix. Prior to his legal career, he worked as an exploration land manager and transactional real estate leader for California Resources Corp. He received his J.D., Highest Honor, from the University of Tulsa College of Law – and prior to his time with the oil and gas company and law school, he was a closer in the minor leagues for 10 years, primarily with the Anaheim Angels/Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization.
“I’m thrilled to join Dorsey’s impressive practice,” said Arnold. “The firm’s extensive presence in the Western United States will be an enormous benefit to my clients.”
“Dorsey entered the Phoenix market in 2022 intending to grow the number of practice areas offered,” said Scott Jenkins, Dorsey’s Phoenix office head. “Adding Mitch Arnold, along with Christopher Sandor in October, helps us continue to deliver on that growth plan to better serve our clients.”
