Bret Baier parts ways with Palm Beach home for $13.49M

Fox News anchor Bret Baier has bid farewell to his Bermuda-style Florida haven for a cool $13.49 million.

The upscale property, just a skip away from the Palm Beach Country Club, had entered the Baier family portfolio in March 2022, with a price tag of $12 million, according to Mansion Global.

This sun-soaked abode, a stone’s throw from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, was originally in the hands of fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, who snagged the property for $9 million in 2021, the very year it sprang to life.

The three-bedroom gem features lofty ceilings, and hardwood and marble flooring, the listing notes.

Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate orchestrated the deal on both sides.

As of now, the identity of the new owner remains undisclosed, with the sale yet to hit public records.

Baier was initially hoping to score over $16 million for the property.

Venturing beyond the walls, the property boasts over 4,100 square feet of sun-drenched opulence, showcasing an entry foyer leading to a grand formal living room complete with a fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, a dining area and a family room adorned with beamed ceilings.

A bonus room stands ready to transform into a fourth bedroom, while a spacious terrace offers scenic views of the surroundings.

Outdoors, the scene is set with a covered loggia, a pool, a built-in grill and meticulously landscaped grounds.

Meanwhile, Baier, the face behind “Special Report with Bret Baier” on Fox News and the network’s chief political anchor, is making other moves, too.

The 53-year-old news maestro is not just bidding adieu to his Palm Beach pad, but in October, also threw his grand Washington DC estate up for sale, with a jaw-dropping price tag of $31.9 million.

The Baier family, including wife Amy and their two teenage sons, has set their sights on the sun-kissed shores of Palm Beach, investing a whopping $37 million in another lavish retreat.

The move, inspired by frequent pandemic getaways in 2020, has Baier waxing poetic about his newfound love for the Sunshine State.

“I fell in love with the place,” Baier confessed to the Wall Street Journal. “The move to Florida was a great adventure for our family, and the boys fell in love with it.”
