Celebrity fashion designer Naeem Khan has dressed royalty and stars, from Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan and Kate Middleton — to Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift.
He also designed this Miami triplex penthouse as his own personal residence. It’s now about to hit the market for $2.98 million, and it features its own private deck and pool.
The sprawling 2,560-square-foot residence is at Ten Museum Park, at 1040 Biscayne Blvd. Along with three bedrooms, 3½ baths and 1,729 square feet of outdoor space, it boasts a private summer kitchen and a 16-by-12-foot plunge pool on the roof.
“This has been my Miami pied-à-terre for 16 years,” Khan told Gimme Shelter, adding, “It has been a place to escape from my hectic fashion life in New York City. I love the bright open feeling of my apartment. It’s like living in the sky.”
Inside, the home is decorated in white, with bursts of color, and lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay and the city skyline.
The residence opens to a large living room on the first floor. A bedroom on this level has been transformed into a dining space. The second floor features the main bedroom and guest suite, with a lounge/library area, while that pool and terrace are on the third-floor rooftop.
Details also include a chef’s kitchen, 22-foot-high ceilings, glass walls, a floating staircase, lots of storage space and an infrared sauna on the third floor.
The building, constructed in 2007, comes with a large gym, along with a concierge and valet parking. There’s also morning coffee service and beach membership at the Bentley Beach Club.
