Taste the rainbow. Live the rainbow.
In honor of Skittles’ newest innovation, Skittles Littles, they’re encouraging fans to live large — in a small but impressive way.
One lucky person will get the chance to live rent-free in a colorful “mini-yet-maximalist” Manhattan apartment.
Skittles will cover one year’s rent in the studio apartment designed by Dani Klarić, Gen-Z TikTok sensation and maximalist interior decorator.
“The Skittles Littles Living apartment feels like a small escape from reality with the rainbow colors and maximalist decor,” Klarić said in a statement.
“Living in a small space doesn’t mean you have to think small when it comes to style. I had so much fun transforming the Skittles Littles Living apartment with bold colors and funky furniture.”
With skyrocketing rents and a competitive market, New York renters can luck out with the Skittles Littles Living apartment — a 353-sq ft studio apartment at Carmel Place, Manhattan’s first micro-unit apartment building located at 335 East 27th Street.
Klarić made the most out of every nook and cranny to optimize the tiny living space for maximum aesthetic and functionality.
It took her just five days to design the bite-sized apartment with colorful walls, a sofa with Skittles pillows, rainbow cabinets, rugs and more. The entry way has colorful floor tiles that move when you step on them.
Klarić added cloud wallpaper and DIY-tiled floors that resemble little Skittles. The apartment even has a balcony that provides natural lighting, a walk-in closet, a functional dining table with an accordion bench to optimize space and a murphy bed.
Those who want to live the rainbow (and are at least 18 years old within the US) have until May 21 to enter for a chance to live in the Skittles Littles Living apartment with rent paid for a year.
