Attendees of the first in a new series of national real estate agent conferences gave high marks to a content-rich event supported by a wide range of exhibitors. Utah RE:Vitalize was produced by Weekly Real Estate News (WREN). Salt Lake City was the first host city for an event that will travel to three additional cities in 2024.
“In keeping with our mission at Weekly Real Estate News, we wanted to create an event that will actually help working real estate agents become more successful, even in this difficult market,” said WREN Publisher John Glen Stevens. “Given the great information our speakers delivered and the great feedback we received from attendees, this first event was a success.”
The event offered a full day of conference sessions in two tracks, delivered by a range of experts, including Jimmy Rex, Jennifer Yao, Thomas Wright, and more. Steve Waldrip,
Utah Governor’s senior advisor for Housing Policy and Innovation gave an address and met with attendees. The luncheon address, sponsored by D2DExperts, was delivered by Super Bowl Champion and Utah native Paul Kruger.
The conference offered sessions that educated, motivated, and inspired, along with a great group of exhibitors and excellent food. Everything from strengthening your brand, improving your sales and marketing process, working with luxury buyers, new technologies, and finding the will to continue even when you face two near-death experiences was on tap. An evening cocktail event ended with three lucky attendees walking away with big screen televisions, courtesy of the sponsors.
“I want agents to leave here feeling inspired to live out their dreams and become who they want to be,” said
Jennifer Yeo, just before taking the stage. “I want people to reach deep down inside and find the place that’s telling them, ‘I can do more than this! I can do better than this!’”
Judging from the applause after her presentation, she succeeded.
One highlight was Paul Kruger’s speech detailed his path from 12-year-old football fanatic to Super Bowl champion, a journey that would take him almost to his death not once but twice.
“Ultimate confidence comes when you master a thing so completely that you can operate within the flow, go beyond the fundamentals, and get creative,” Kruger told the audience. “You can only get there when you learn that no one is going to do it for you. No one is coming to save you. You have to learn to master your own self-dialogue and be willing to fight alone.”
Kruger’s presentation brought both tears and cheers from the audience.
The next RE:Ignite conference is currently scheduled to take place in Maimi in September.
