“Zillow Gone Wild,” the popular Instagram account that celebrates uniquely outrageous homes, will have its broadcast premiere May 3 at 10:30 p.m. ET on HGTV, and it will have its streaming premiere the same day and time on Max.
The new series will feature the non-traditional homes and their equally iconoclastic owners, and each residence will be ranked on criteria including creativity, commitment to the theme and the home’s special qualities. In the series’ finale, HGTV will proclaim which house is the “wildest” – and viewers can enter a promotional contest to win $25,000 by correctly guessing which home will be crowned the “Wildest House.”
Jack McBrayer, the actor and comedian best known for his Emmy-nominated role in “30 Rock,” will be the on-screen host for the show.
“Everyone loves to scroll endlessly, looking at all the pretty houses for sale online,” said McBrayer. “But I’m on a mission to find out the story behind America’s strangest and most extraordinary homes. I want to meet the owners and, most importantly, see for myself what’s inside.”
