A home on one of the only private streets in Manhattan has just hit the market.
On the far west side of Manhattan, on a block that defies the street grid and most New York City real estate, several stately houses sit behind gates that show an address of 687 Greenwich St.
This is Greenwich Mews, and one of its seven dwellings is now on the market for $6.49 million, according to StreetEasy. It’s a rare offering, as the listings portal additionally shows only three home on the block have traded hands since 2015.
