Captain Sandy from ‘Below Deck’ lists Denver home amid fallout from unfinished dream Florida residence

Captain Sandy Yawn, known for her role on Bravo’s hit series “Below Deck,” and her fiancée, Leah Rae Shafer, have listed their Denver-area home amid a tumultuous chapter in the couple’s life, The Post has exclusively learned.

Asking $685,000, the decision to sell their Parker, Colorado residence comes as the couple invested nearly $1.6 million into a Florida property.

But just a month ago, they were left reeling after hopes for that dream home were shattered when the construction company they entrusted allegedly abandoned the project — despite having poured their life savings into it.

Their builder, Spencer Calvert of Pineapple Construction, stands accused of duping them and many others. Out of 33 homes contracted with Calvert’s company, only 18 were completed, leaving 15 families in limbo.

“Our home in Parker, Colorado has expansive mountain views and is beautifully designed and turn-key for its next owner,” Yawn told The Post. “Moving to Florida was always our plan after Lauren [Leah’s daughter] graduated.”

But their dream turned into a nightmare when Calvert allegedly absconded with their money, leaving their Florida home a mere vision. (The Post’s attempts to reach the construction company for comment were unsuccessful, as the phone number is disconnected.)

Speaking candidly, Yawn voiced her frustration: “As many people know, our builder, Spencer Calvert stole our money along with other homeowners. It is our hope that the state attorney of St. Johns County and the state of Florida stop this white-collar crime.”

She added, “Since our story broke, many other homeowners have come forward about other builders that we all entrust our futures to. This must be stopped, otherwise why build a dream home?”

Despite the setback, Yawn and Shafer are hoping the sale of their Denver home will help ease their financial burdens.

Described as a “stunning townhome in the Pine Bluffs neighborhood,” the property features an open-concept main floor with laminate floors throughout.

Occupying more than 2,100 square feet, the expansive kitchen boasts quartz countertops and shaker cabinets with a large island.

There is a separate dining space, a large living room with a gas fireplace and a mud room off the garage entrance, the listing notes.

The home is made up of a primary suite with an ensuite bathroom, and two additional bedrooms with ensuite baths and walk-in closets.

Meanwhile, the walk-out basement boasts tons of sunlight, and holds an additional bedroom and a full bath — even a bonus room.
