AmTrust Financial Services Inc., a New York City-headquartered global specialty property casualty insurer, has appointed James Thanasules as president of AmTrust Title Insurance Company.
In this new job, Thanasules will oversee AmTrust Title’s operations providing title insurance for the commercial and residential real estate industries. Thanasules joined AmTrust in 2016 as senior vice president and chief New York State counsel; previously, he was vice president and senior underwriting counsel for First American Title Insurance Company’s New York Agency Division. He is also a past president of the New York State Land Title Association.
