Put Dry January on hold and sing your heart out. This mansion has star power — and even its own pub and recording studio.
Grammy Award-winning DJ Zedd, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, is listing his Encino mansion in the San Fernando Valley, California, for $18.99 million.
Zedd, an electronic music producer born in Russia and raised in Germany, isn’t going far. He bought a nearby Encino home — a Nordic-inspired three-story modern farmhouse known as Odin, for $18.4 million last December.
Both homes share the same interior designer: Jae Omar.
Zedd told Gimme Shelter he loves how the home “inspired healthy living.” He spent the last couple of years turning the property into a “personal wellness retreat” with a gym, a cardio space, swimmer’s pool saunas, cold plunges and a massage room.
“The blending of the home’s organic interiors with the natural surroundings tucked away from the city furthers this concept of healthy living and reminds me of my upbringing in Germany,” he said.
Zedd bought the home he is currently selling, at 3904 Valley Meadow Road, from formerly happy couple Joe Jonas, the pop star, and “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner, for a then-record $15.2 million in 2021.
The home is in the posh enclave of Royal Oaks. (The estranged couple paid $14.1 million for the home in 2019 and listed it for $16.8 million in 2021.)
While Jonas and Turner are in the middle of a divorce, its ugly phase is over. They are, apparently, close to an amicable settlement and look forward to co-parenting their kids, according to reports.
Built in 2019, the chic home is 13,282 square feet and sits on close to an acre. It features a pool, mature oak trees and plenty of indoor-slash-outdoor entertaining spaces. Outside, there’s a “summer” kitchen, a putting green and patio spaces. Inside, there are six bedrooms and 12 baths.
The residence features large living and entertaining rooms, made even better by that pub. The home is anchored by a chef’s kitchen and breakfast room, along with a family room, a dining area, a home office and a gym with a sauna and massage room. There’s also a catering kitchen and a wine cellar.
The main bedroom boasts a spa-like bath, double walk-in closets, a sitting area, a fireplace and a wrap terrace. The property also features a 1,496-square-foot guest house with two baths, fireplaces and a sound-proof home theater.
The listing brokers are David Kramer and Andrew Buss of Hilton & Hyland/Forbes Global Properties.
