Britney Spears’ childhood home with buried dog, her drawings and furnishings lists for $1.2M

Britney Spears’ humble Louisiana abode is now on the market for a staggering $1.2 million.

The pop princess’s childhood residence is nestled in Kentwood, Louisiana, at 14550 Greenlaw Church Road.

It’s a far cry from its 2021 sale price of $275,000, when Britney’s dad, Jamie, waved goodbye to the place — meaning the current owners are looking for a serious profit on this deal.

This charming ranch house, boasting three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, spans 2,299 square feet and comes with a little piece of pop history.

Jamie Spears initially listed the home for $289,000 in 2021. Back then, it was already a steal, considering the illustrious connection to Britney.

The property’s history dates back to at least 1988 when he first got his name on it, according to property records. It became his primary residence after his divorce from Lynne, Britney’s mother, in 2002.

While there was a sale in December 2017, it seems to have been more of an internal title transfer, with Jamie’s name appearing on both sides of the transaction.

TMZ was the first to report on the listing, noting that the current sellers are simply looking for something new, and not to cash in on the bombshell “The Woman In Me” memoir that dropped last week.

Listing agent Yvonne Hulsey, of Keller Williams Realty Services, dished out some intriguing details about the property.

“There is a little colored picture that Britney painted when she was a little girl. You’ll have a Jesus picture that she painted too,” Hulsey told The Post.

Even Britney’s cherished dog found its final resting place in the backyard, as a photo obtained by The Post confirmed.

“The owner is just thinking that it might be more valuable to somebody that might want to create something … perhaps doing something else with the home, you know, maybe a museum or something of that nature,” Hulsey added.

The house’s interior boasts green striped wallpaper, ’70s-style wood paneling, ceiling fans, granite countertops, a woodburning fireplace and a two-car garage, according to the listing.

But that’s not all — this home also has quite the history. It’s the very same house that played a starring role in Rolling Stone’s 1999 feature, “Inside the Heart and Mind (and Bedroom) of Britney.”

The article detailed the abode, complete with photo-lined hallways, a “tiny” bedroom drowning in floral patterns and frills, and pale-faced dolls. Surprisingly, Spears often slept in her mother’s bed, fearing the watchful eyes of relentless fans, as journalist Steven Daly wrote.

And here’s the kicker: there’s an unusual metal building studio on the property, offering “endless possibilities from a dance studio or office area,” according to the listing. Previously, it served as a local gym named Total Fitness by Jamie.

The 2-acre lot also boasts two metal storage buildings, one spanning 2,400 square feet and the other at 500 square feet, as indicated in the listing.

If you’re keen on history and want a piece of Britney’s past, the house is offered “fully furnished,” albeit minus Britney’s bedroom furniture, most of which has been generously donated to the Kentwood Historical and Cultural Museum.

The listing comes on the heels of Britney’s memoir release: “The Woman in Me.” The book was released last Tuesday, but teasers came out the week prior — most prominently the revelation that she underwent an abortion at age 19 because her ex, Justin Timberlake, didn’t want to be a father. In the memoir, Spears also heavily details her time growing up in this now-listed residence.
