Jennifer Lopez offloads LA mansion to secret buyer for $33M

JLo has traded LA addresses. Just months after Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally settled on a sprawling California estate in affluent Pacific Palisades, Lopez has successfully sold her old pad in Bel-Air.

Lopez, 54, listed this nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom compound for $42.5 million this February, The Post reported at the time.

Now, eight months later, she’s found a buyer — albeit for significantly under that initial ask.

According to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the sale, the home’s mystery buyers paid just under $34 million, or some $8 million less than what Lopez sought for the mansion.

“My clients fell in love with the land,” the buyers’ representation, Beverly Hills Estates’ Lea Porter, told the publication, declining to name her clients but noting they’re not from California.

Lopez was represented by Carolwood Estates’ Brett Lawyer in the transaction.

Jenny from the Block purchased the property for $28 million in 2016, quite a deal at the time considering “The Day After Tomorrow” star Sela Ward was then seeking $40 million for the 8-acre spread.

Set behind gates, the multi-structure residence is built to emulate the French Country style, and features numerous fireplaces and plenty of stone and wood throughout.

There’s a formal dining room, a kitchen with a built-in breakfast area, a three-sided infinity-edge pool, a 30-seat home theater, a massage room, and a primary suite with its own library and dual dressing rooms.

On the grounds, amenities include two separate guest cottages, a motor court, a 100-seat amphitheater, a fire pit-equipped pagoda, an organic vegetable garden, an entertainment pavilion with a full kitchen, and a private lake and beach.

“All rooms open to large terraces with lush views,” says the listing.

Meanwhile, the relatively newlyweds’ Pacific Palisades place has much less land, measuring in at a comparatively humble 1.13 acres, but an impressive 13,000 square feet of living space in the main house alone.

Within that expanse, there are six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two studios, multiple playrooms and more — not to mention an additional 3,000-square-foot, two-bedroom, four-bathroom guest house.
