Buy the Hamptons home where Beyoncé and Jay-Z once summered — for $37M

Hamptons

One of the Hamptons most iconic estates is back on the market for $37 million, following a price drop and broker swap.

This is where Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z have all stayed over the years. It’s also where Blue Ivy spent her first summer and where her famous parents shot a music video in the backyard.

Known as Sandcastle, the home — which was once on the market for $50 million — also served as a $2 million pandemic hideaway for financier Ian Snow.

The 12-bedroom home, which comes with its own two-lane bowling alley, is at 612 Halsey Lane in Bridgehampton. Celebrity developer Joe Farrell built the home in 2008 and was its former occupant before he sold the property for $31 million in 2021 to Alan Kestenbaum, the Brooklyn-born honcho of the Miami-based private equity firm Bedrock Industries Group, which owns metals companies like Stelco in Canada.

Before Farrell sold Sandcastle, he once hosted a fundraiser for then-president Donald Trump on the property in 2019.

The traditional-style home, which sits on 11½ acres, also features a sunken tennis court, a 60-foot pool and a 2,400-square-foot pool house. There’s also an outdoor kitchen, along with a baseball field, and squash, basketball, racquetball and volleyball court areas. The main house opens to a foyer that leads to a living room and a chef’s kitchen.

Details also include a formal dining room, a walnut-paneled library, a wine cellar, a 10-seat theater, an elevator and a screened porch. The lower level boasts a gym, a spa and amenities including a climbing wall and a skateboard half-pipe, along with a club area and a DJ booth.

The listing brokers are Official’s Tal Alexander, Sara Sandler Goldfarb and Frederick Wallenmaier, who declined to comment.
