Don’t be surprised if you see more of Bad Bunny in West Chelsea.
The glam global pop star and rapper, recently snapped in Gotham with girlfriend Kendall Jenner in matching black outfits, has rented an ultra-luxury penthouse last asking $150,000 a month, Gimme Shelter has learned exclusively.
The newly official couple — known for sporting “Matrix”-inspired outfits and Gucci logos (they are in a Gucci Valigeria campaign photographed by Anthony Seklaoui) — have been spotted at Fashion Week and at a Luis Miguel show at Madison Square Garden.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, also recently debuted a new skinny buzzcut to go with his latest album release at celeb hotspot Carbone, where he was greeted for dinner as “Don Benito,” Page Six reported.
The four-bedroom, 4½-bath penthouse pad is at 527 W. 27th St. and will have its own close-up in Ryan Serhant’s upcoming new reality show, tentatively titled “House of Serhant.”
At 4,552 square feet, it was last asking $18.5 million for sale and boasts an additional 4,593 square feet of outdoor space with a private pool. The apartment also comes with sliding glass walls showcasing city skyline views.
Design details include 7-inch-wide plank floors, custom-oak paneling and 12-foot ceilings. The home boasts four terraces including the landscaped rooftop, with Hudson River views, an outdoor kitchen, seating areas and a 32-foot lap pool.
The home opens to a windowed gallery that leads to a living room with a corner terrace, a dining room and pocket doors that open to an eat-in chef’s kitchen with another dining terrace. There’s also a library with a spiral staircase that opens to the roof and a double-height terrace. The main bedroom suite comes with walk-in closets and an ensuite bath.
Known as Jardim, the 11-story, 36-unit building was designed by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld and launched in 2019. Building amenities include onsite parking and a 9,000-square-foot private club with a gym, a 60-foot skylit lap pool, a yoga studio and a children’s playroom.
There’s also a multi-level landscaped garden with benches and stone and wood pathways.
The listing brokers are Chase Landow and Ryan Serhant of Serhant.
